This extension integrates Cycles, the renderer from the famed Blender 3D program, into SAMSON.
The Cycles renderer offers you photorealistic rendering capabilities that will take your visualizations to an entirely new level.
To activate the Cycles renderer in SAMSON, click on the Trace command in the Visualization menu (the command is also accessible in the visualization toolbar at the bottom of the viewport), or press the F9 key.
You can apply materials to molecules by selecting them and using the context toolbar or the Visualization menu. Edit materials attributes using the Inspector (Ctrl / Cmd + 2).
Molecular Cycles is an extension for SAMSON,
the integrative platform for molecular design.
To use Molecular Cycles:
When you restart SAMSON, the extension will be automatically installed
and will be usable directly from within SAMSON.
