Create a carbon nanotube (CNT) in just two clicks.
This extension is an editor that makes it possible to generate a carbon nanotube in just two clicks.
Usage
- Select the nanotube editor.
- Press and hold the left mouse button to draw the axis of the nanotube. Release the left mouse button when the nanotube axis is chosen.
- Move the mouse and press the left mouse button again to choose the nanotube radius and orientation.
The status bar displays the n and m parameters of the nanotube, as well as the number of atoms it contains.
You may then use the Brenner Interaction model to interactively simulate generated nanotubes.
