In this game, you search and build the most compact structures composed of interacting atoms through eight increasingly challenging levels.
This game can serve as an introduction to some concepts in physics (atoms, energies, forces, clusters, surface tension, etc.), mathematics (high-dimensional spaces, global energy minima, etc.) and algorithms (global optimization in high dimensions).
Atoms are interacting with a mathematically simple Lennard-Jones model.
This extension was developped within the Grenoble Game Lab project funded by the French IDEX initiative.
Important: this extension requires the Lennard-Jones SAMSON Element. Please add it too.
This SAMSON Element has been originally created by Joachim Woerly-Moussier as a part of his internship at NANO-D, Inria.
